Do you know that the Fulani people also conduct mass burials? This will shock you......

The last few days has been very traumatic for me. Because I was troubled in my body, spirit and soul. Trying to reflect on the events of the last few days, the killings in Plateau state that took hundreds of lives, the communal clash between indigenes of Cross River state and Ebonyi State where scores were reported killed and many others across the country. I have made no post politically either in support or against anybody. I was just mourning because of all that lost their lives including animals that were either deliberately killed or caught in the crossfire. Without being biased, I want to state categorically that the security agents of the state failed in their responsibility and by extension the federal government of Nigeria lead by President Muhammad Buhari. It's an established fact that it's the responsibility of government to protect live and properties but it doesn't seem to be the case here. Therefore, the federal government should as a matter of urgency revi...

Still On Jos. A very short recap

Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was president from 1999 -2007. During this period, Jos saw hell a number of times. While killings of innocent people and destruction of properties were on, never did anyone accuse President Obasanjo of being the master mind of the massacre. In 2001 alone, the crises that started on the 7th September lasted for about 2 weeks and left about 1,000 people killed, houses burnt and other properties worth millions lost. In 2004 another violence that also claimed about 1,000 lives led President Olusegun Obasanjo to impose a state of emergency in Plateau state, describing the mayhem as nothing short of “mutual genocide.” There are other pockets of crises, but lets go to the administration after that. President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua took office in late June 2007 and by November 2008,a two days conflict left hundreds injured putting the figure of those killed at 761 with many hundreds either missing or unaccounted for. During these crises no one mentioned Presiden...

Many Photos Of Ahmed Musa by Nigerians. # 9 is so Classic.

After the Super Eagles beautiful performance yesterday in Russia, Ahmed Musa become the most talked about football player in Nigeria. His photos are everywhere on social media. Here we bring you some of the best photos of Musa following his World Cup heroics

Nigeria First World Cup Match in Russia, The Mocking of a Great Nation and Bitterness Taken Too Far.

Can't we have some moments of fun just like many other countries of the world? Is foolishness only resident in the Nigerian youths? Must we use every single thing to show bitterness, exhibit our youthful exuberance and then play politics to show how much we hate our nation or the person (s) at the helm of affairs. It's really getting too nasty for my liking. Nigeria is not the only nation that lost their first game in the ongoing World Cup in Russia and not the only country to have done so since the inception of the World Cup. Rejoicing and making merry that your country lost and insulting the person of your president is not only shameful, but despicable, contemptible, atrocious, disgusting, iniquitous, diabolical, criminal and politics of bitterness taken too far. Losing the first game of the tournament could be fatal, but not that it's over. In the past World Cups, many teams lost their opening games and still made it to the second round. I remember that Ghana in 2006,...

This Young Man Was Caught Having S$x With a Female Goat.

It's really getting out of hand this days as this young teenage boy was caught red handed sleeping with a goat this morning as shared by a facebook user. No one can tell why he did such act but bestiality seem to have been on the increase especially among men in East Africa. The poor goat could not survive it.

Excitement In the Air As Russians beg Super Eagles Players for Selfies and Autographs [Photos]

Super Eagles are kings in Russia. They are getting all the attention they need. Everything seem to be going on well for them. Nigerians are hopping that it translates to a fantastic performance by surpassing their target.

The "Archbishop Anthony Obinna 2nd Uncalculated Involvement in Imo Politics"

It has become very worrisome the way and manner clerics involves themselves in partisan politics while the greater majority of us cheer them up in total ignorance and to the detriment of the Christian community. These has been the trend in our nation and particularly in Imo state where the Archbishop of Owerri Catholic Diocese, Archbishop Anthony Obinna always stir up controversies during every election year. In 2011, former governor Ohakim was accused by the same Archbishop Anthony Obinna of beating up a reverend Father which drew the condemnation of all christian faithfuls around the world. In all honesty, it is an unforgivable sin against the holy spirit to raise hands on an anointed man of God. It destroys a generation. "Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm" 1 Chronicles 16:22 and Psalm 105:15. Few years down the line, governor Ohakim was completely exonerated from any wrong doing, he never raised his hands on any priest. It was all lies from the same ...

According to Nairobinews A couple was on Friday found ‘stuck’ while having illicit sex in a hotel room in Kitale town. The man and woman had locked themselves in a room at Baraka hotel, but soon after started shouting out for help from the hotel’s management. Unconfirmed reports from the man’s wife indicated that he lives in Lodwar town with his family but has business interests in Kitale town. The wife told police that she had noticed a pattern of the landlady’s disappearance whenever her husband had business engagements in Kitale.  The coincidences made her begin suspecting of a possible love affair between the two. She even had a fight with her husband after she confessed of her suspicions. Is Peter the Rock in Matthew 16:18?

Jesus threw a question to his disciples. "But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am? Matthew 16:16. Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Matthew 16:17-18 Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" This scripture has been a subject-matter of endless controversies over the years. Is Peter the rock which Christ will build His church or Peter’s confession that Jesus is “the Christ, the Son of the Living God. Many have attributed this interaction to mean that the church of Jesus Christ was built upon peter. It is no doubt that God used Apostle Peter tremendously in the foundation of the church. It should be noted that Peter was the very first who with boldness proclaimed ...

The Absurdity of the Buhari Project Challenge; My Take....

Recently, some people started a campaign on social media and offered to award handsome prizes to anyone who can name any project started and completed by the Buhari administrations. It may seem difficult to name, but that challenge in itself is absolute stupidity and to think that people who went to school shared it is very disturbing in itself. It is common knowledge that this administration has been completing and commissioning abandoned projects by previous administrations .  We all quote that government is a continuum, but in practice, who has ever applied that principle in Nigeria. Nigerians should be very grateful that a responsible government disengaged from the normal practice of abandoning old projects and initiating new ones for the purpose of bragging that it was their idea. Most abandoned projects were avenues where billions were looted. But sorry to disappoint you, The Federal Government of Nigeria and President Muhammadu Buhari expressed very clear commitment to ...

IMAGINE!!! FEMI FANI KAYODE AND PRESIDENT BUHARI ON THE SAME LANE.

Femi Fani Kayode in 2012 blamed Muammar Ghadaffi for the influx of jihadist and sophisticated arms into Nigeria. Now tell me the difference with Presidents Buhari's assertion and what FFK said about the same issue. These are Femi Fani Kayode exact words: == "The destabilisation of north Africa and the opening of the door for Islamic insurgents in the north African Arab Sahel states and the west African sub-region.These are just some of Obama’s disastrous legacies and sadly the mistakes he has made in his foreign policy in north Africa particularly impacts on us directly in Nigeria and in west Africa. Let me give you just one example of that. Had it not been for the fall-out of the mess in Libya and the brutal way in which Muammar Ghadaffi, the Libyan leader, was murdered in cold blood one year ago, his Taureg friends and allies in north Africa would not have been inspired and driven to take over northern Mali and create a Taliban-style Islamic fundamentalist state the...

When China executed 26 of her corrupt officials.

China is world's leading executioner. No mercy. The history of the  death penalty in China, is deeply rooted, dating back thousands of years. Political philosopher Shang Yang (390-338 BCE) was among the founders of Chinese legalism, a classical school of thought, and known for advocating a stronger judicial system. China still practice it till today. Research by Amnesty International in 2010, 23 countries use death penalty for different crimes including the United states. People and nations have argued that the method is cruel and inhumane regardless of the crime committed. Here In Nigeria, many people are advocating death penalty for corrupt government officials for the pains they have inflicted on the masses. However, it should be noted at the same time that there is only one issue that can be used as a litmus test for humanism and that is the death penalty. Do you want this in Nigeria to check corruption and corrupt officials?

AT THE RIGHT TIME, GOVERNMENT WILL TAKE OVER YOUR UNIVERSITY AND LIBRARY BECAUSE THEY WERE SET UP WITH PUBLIC FUNDS BY FEMI FALANA (SAN)

"Our country is undergoing serious crises of governance but we must be very careful so that we do not allow those who destroyed the country, those who ruined the nation to pose as the saviour of our people." “There’s somebody living very close to this place who has been parading himself as the saviour of our people; this guy ruled the country for 11 ½ years cumulatively – 3 ½ years under the military, eight years under a civilian dispensation. And even wanted to do a third term but Nigerians rejected him. Obasanjo was military head of state between February 1976 and October 1, 1979. He was president from 1999 to 2007." “The guy is going round the country now, claiming to have solutions to our problems; I wish to say here and we are challenging him to name one thing that he did, any problem of the country that he solved." “On the contrary, this guy wasted $16billion to generate darkness for the country. This guy formed and took over the resources of the cou...

I disagree with you Mr. Bruce

Nigeria just unveiled their new kits for Russia 2018 and Ben Murray-Bruce Wrote; Just imagine if those 3 million Nigerian Super Eagles jerseys were made by a firm in Aba rather than @Nike. Aba tailors have the capacity to produce them. We just lost an opportunity to infuse at least $100 million into the Nigerian economy and provide jobs for our youths. My Final Thought: It's sad to get such comment from a supposedly educated Senator. Someone should quickly tell him that Nike paid money to Supper Eagles in the form of sponsorship and sometimes ru nning into millions of dollars. This is the first time NFF has successfully eliminated third party relationships and will deal with Nike directly. It means more money for NFF.  The issue is this, we cannot be a member of the international community and still act like local champions. Will Aba tailors set up shops in America, Asia and Europe to get back their investment if they have the capacity to make this Jerseys. Do...

Goodluck Jonathan and PDP Never PRAISED Abacha. Only PMB Did.

In March, 2014, former president Jonathan conferred an award on General Sani Abacha for “Outstanding Promoter of Unity, Patriotism and National Development”. It was a laudable move by the "hero" of democracy and according to Reuben Abati, the spokesperson to President Jonathan; "The award was in relation to the amalgamation, the national unity, the history of Nigeria and the roles played by certain individua ls" He also explained that the reason for his nomination was that “he took over power when the nation was on the brink of precipice. He mobilized the nation’s most prominent political class into his cabinet and succeeded in ensuring the continued unity of the nation. He also raised Nigeria’s international standing for his peace keeping military interventions in Sierra Leone and Liberia.” It will be recalled that Wole Soyinka declined to accept the award alongside Abacha who he described as a dictator. I just remembered this morning and felt that I should shar...

I Understand What You Face Daily Supporting The Man From Daura.

Dear Compatriots, I remember in 2015 during the last election , I was then staying with guys in a building of 6 flats and surrendered also by other similar buildings of the same number of flats. We were all from the eastern part of Nigeria. Very interesting community of understanding, hard-working and intelligent guys, but guess what; I was the only Buhari supporter in their midst. It was not easy facing them even as they nicknamed me Buhari's first son for my firm believe in most of his ideals. I miss them so much. They are very understanding and cool guys. In the midst of this stiff opposition , I stood my ground not because I found a perfect man in the person of Muhammadu Buhari. I strongly subscribe to his passion and dreams to build and sustain a better country devoid of looting and impunity. I can understand the heat you take trying to defend Buhari especially if we come from the same part of this country where I come from. I am aware that you took up this challenge ...
