Aliko Dangote’s (Peugeot Automobiles Nigeria Ltd) operation in Nigeria

The Aliko Dangote's auto company (Peugeot Automobiles Nigeria Ltd) is rolling out the Land Trek, 3008, 5008, and the new 508 models with an assembling capacity of 120 vehicles per day.

This is a good development for the economy especially in the area of Job creation. Nigeria is a very big market that can accommodate more automobile manufacturing and assembling companies.
But we have a big issue in our hands.
Some people are not happy about this development especially from the south east. Their argument is that Dangote came on board to finish with INNOSSON what he started with GTB. Is Dangote connected to that case?
I read comments and I am bewildered with what is coming out of people's mouth. These guys all wrote in very good English indicating that they were all well educated. But why this mindset? Why is their thinking that way?
Since I was born, I have never seen anyone from my Local government drive INNOSSON viechle. I am very sure that not up to 20 people own any model of INNOSON viechle in the entire Imo state and Anambara. We don't patronize these guy even our state governors. The only government that have ever appreciated this young industrious man from Nnewi is the present Buhari government with a purchase of thousands of his products ranging from Pick up for Road Safety, SUV for all senior military officers, buses, Military viechle of all type. Soludo indicated interest last week to also go with INNOSSON viechle.
Apart from INNOSSON and Dangote, Coscharis also assemble Renault variants – Logan and Duster and other brands in the market. IMC (Steyr Motors),Proforcedefence Limited- producing armored vehicles for the government, communities, and Private sectors in Nigeria and Africa. Nigeria is a big market and if we all decide to patronize them, they won't even meet up with demands.
We should always be calming down.

Anambara State And The Charles Chukwuma Soludo Template

The template Professor Chukwuma Soludo is bringing to the table in Anambara is fantastic if implementable. But it will definitely be a hard nut to crack. As a professor of Economics, Prof knows that there is a political angel to governance and not everyone is master in this regard. If you are a student of politics, you should be conversant with the word "Realpolitiks" It's German term meaning "the politics of reality." The term is used to describe tough and engaging power politics with no room for idealism or any form of moral or ideological considerations. Not many politicians are masters in this field. The question is; can Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo wriggle and flounder through the muddy waters of hardcore politics. Former Lagos state governor Ambode comes to mind. This interplay between the Political Ideal and Reality is the major reason why politicians and political parties fail to fulfil their campaign promises. Remember that politicians all over t...

When China executed 26 of her corrupt officials.

China is world's leading executioner. No mercy. The history of the  death penalty in China, is deeply rooted, dating back thousands of years. Political philosopher Shang Yang (390-338 BCE) was among the founders of Chinese legalism, a classical school of thought, and known for advocating a stronger judicial system. China still practice it till today. Research by Amnesty International in 2010, 23 countries use death penalty for different crimes including the United states. People and nations have argued that the method is cruel and inhumane regardless of the crime committed. Here In Nigeria, many people are advocating death penalty for corrupt government officials for the pains they have inflicted on the masses. However, it should be noted at the same time that there is only one issue that can be used as a litmus test for humanism and that is the death penalty. Do you want this in Nigeria to check corruption and corrupt officials?
